Snackeez, the ultimate snack carrying solution for kids!

I am like a dear in headlights when it comes to Infomercials and "As Seen on TV" ads. I enjoy watching these commercials for products that are supposed to solve a common problem, make life easier, or help complete a task faster. The ultimate job for me would would be to evaluate and thoroughly test these products and provide objective feedback to other potential customers. How many of you remember the RONCO Glass Froster?

Like most houses located in rural areas, we have problems with field mice in the winter and small sugar ants in the spring. It is important to keep open food items and crumbs to a minimum so as not to attract such vermin. Unfortunately, my 7 year old daughter is a "crumb generator" while she eats her after school and before bed snack in the living room while watching television. The crumbs are everywhere, in the carpet, the cracks of the couch and the comfy chair. I thought the Snackeez would be a good way to minimize this crumb trail!

My daughter saw the Infomercial on one of the kids channels and was intrigued that she could fit her Chicken McNuggets AND Fries in the top and her drink of choice in the bottom. I ordered the Snackeez on Amazon and it was here in two days as I am subscribed to Amazon Prime. One day I I surprised my daughter by delivering her snack in her very own Snackeez cup, she was very excited to have the EXACT same Snackeez cup color combination that was in the Infomercial!

The Snackeez is slightly pricey, it retails for $12 on Amazon at the time of this writing. I guess you are paying for the novelty as I have never seen a drinking glass like this! The cup has a BPA Free symbol and text located at the base so parent's minds can be put to rest regrading its composition. The bottom container can hold about 16 ounces of liquid while the top can hold about 4 ounces which equates to about five Chicken McNuggets with maybe a couple fries on top. The top snack compartment twists in place and can be removed for filling the bottom cup with liquid or for cleaning. It comes with a drinking straw that extends out of the snack compartment that can also be removed for cleaning. The snack compartment comes with a snap-on lid that should prevent the snacks from falling out of the top compartment on most falls. The snack compartment is securely held once twisted in place and should prevent liquid spills in all but the most extreme drops. The Snackeez has a handy rubber grip in its mid section to help small hands hold on to it. The Snackeez is dishwasher safe. The only "negative" I can think of is that you don't get your choice of Snackeez color, they send you a random color combination when ordered.

Although slightly expensive, the Snackeez lives up to its name. Your son, daughter, or grand kids will love the novelty of being served a drink AND snack in this one of a kind cup! The Snackeez gets so much use around our house it is being constantly washed. Maybe its time to order a second one?
